I think it is important to know about any food allergies, any behavioral issues (timid of strangers, dog/leash reactivity), health issues, and if I should text as opposed to knocking or ringing the doorbell.

A typical day for dogs for a drop in service or dog walk includes a safe walk, playtime if needed, feeding if needed and fresh water. A typical day for cats include pets, feeding, cleaning litter box, playtime and brushing.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and cats personally and professionally for twenty years. I understand the importance of being able to find a reliable, punctual and experienced pet caretaker. I believe that trust and safety come first as well as having common sense. I treat your pet(s) as if they were my own. I pride myself on providing excellent care and often go above and beyond. I am able to administer medication and have experience with deaf and blind dogs and basic training and behavioral issues. My personal experience has been a cat owner since 1994. I started rescuing "pit bull "type dogs in 2000 and have become an advocate for this misunderstood breed. I currently reside with my two rescues Kingsley and Rosa.

We’ve asked Cheryl to care for our cats many times and she always goes above and beyond! She is very communicative and this time she helped us problem solve with our shy cat to make sure everyone did well and had what they needed. She is our go-to!
Great communication! Cheryl was delightful, fabulous with my two giant breeds, and sent photos! We will certainly use her again.
