I’ve had pets my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. My journey in animal care started in 1993 when I began volunteering at a local shelter as a middle schooler. Since then, I’ve cared for pets through every life stage, from bottle-feeding kittens and puppies to providing senior care. In 2024, I began fostering with Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue (who I've adopted 3 dogs from) and volunteering with WAGS, a Louisville therapy animal group, where I was a trained aide to handlers as they help bring comfort and smiles to the community through pet therapy. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, topical medications, and subcutaneous medications and fluids, and I have hands-on experience with pets needing extra medical support. Two of my own resident pets are receiving medication on a regular basis in partnership with their veterinary team. Whether your pet needs playtime, snuggles, structured walks, or special care, I treat every animal as if they were my own with patience, reliability, and love.

Your pet will feel right at home here. I have a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe playtime and plenty of comfy dog beds for lounging. Crates can be made available as well. My two friendly resident dogs love having new friends to play with, and they help keep visiting pups entertained and happy. I also share my home with two cats who have their own separated space, so everyone can feel comfortable. Whether your pet prefers running around the yard, snuggling up inside, or just relaxing, I make sure they have the care, space, and attention they need to feel safe and loved.

Chanele is hands down one of the best pet mamas out there. She and her husband love their fur babies beyond compare and take such good care of them. She’s helped dog sit for me on a few occasions and Albus (my dog) loves it there! Chanele has been our go-to house sitter for our dog, Lando, for quite a while now. She has cared for him on numerous occasions, from quick one-day visits to longer stays. Every single time, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Chanele is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. We always feel completely at ease knowing Lando is in her care. She treats him like her own and is wonderful at communicating, sending us regular updates and photos, which we always appreciate. Schedule
I currently work from home, so your pet will always have company and attention through the day. Someone will be home with the pets at all times, making sure they get plenty of care, playtime, and snuggles.

- To give your pet the best care, I like to know about their daily schedule and routines, as well as any special likes or dislikes. Please share quirks, fears, or anxieties that make your pet unique so I can help them feel safe and comfortable. I also need to know about any health issues, medical needs, or medications, along with feeding times and exercise preferences. The more I know, the better I can match your pet’s routine and keep them happy while they are with me.
