When I'm at a client's home for either a drop-in, picking up a dog for a walk or for a sit, I respect their privacy, value and order of things. It's all about the cats and dogs and I'm only interested in what they need to have a good time. Bear in mind that "House Sitting" is not a 24/7 service. Its main purpose is that your animals are not home alone at night and are taken care of in the norning as well as evening. However, I'm often able to spend more time at your place and "move in" so to speak for a time you desire. It's also possible for me to not sleep at your place but be arounf your animals while working from your home. It all depends. Let's talk.

A typical day
With cats, I adapt to their flow and feeding schedule. If they are up for playing or cuddle, I'm up for it as well. They decide. As for dogs, I always prefer walking in nature (where it's green or close to water) to asphalt. It's just so much better for exploring and stimulating their senses. So depending on where you live the first choice would be taking your dog to a park near by. I'm happy to throw sticks and kick balls, or learn new games.

Pet care experience
I've started using the Rover app in 2023 while living on Vancouver Island permanently. Then, while travelling through Canada and Europe, staying in different towns for different periods of time, I enjoyed meeting new animals and people through Rover. I gained great experience, great reviews and even Star Sitter status. :-) I am fascinated by animals, each with their own character, needs, and habits. Sometimes it's time to play, sometimes to cuddle, often it's time to rest and sleep, and of course it's always a good time for treats.
