Before watching your pet, it’s super helpful to know a few important things to give them the best care possible: • Daily Routine: Meal times, walk times, and sleep habits • Feeding Instructions: What they eat, how much, and any treats allowed • Medical Needs: Any allergies, medications, or health conditions • Behavior & Personality: Are they shy, playful, anxious, or energetic? • Triggers or Fears: Things like loud noises, other animals, or strangers • Commands They Know: Words they respond to or training cues • Emergency Contacts: Vet info and your preferred way to be reached • Favorite Things: Toys, activities, or places that make them happiest Knowing these things helps me make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for just like they would at home!

A typical day while pet sitting is relaxed, fun, and centered around keeping your pet happy and cared for. I usually start the morning with feeding and fresh water, followed by a walk or some playtime to get their energy out. Throughout the day, I check in regularly to give bathroom breaks, cuddles, or play sessions—whatever your pet enjoys most. If they’re more active, we might go on another walk or play fetch; if they’re more mellow, we’ll relax together with toys or gentle attention. I stick closely to their usual routine to keep things familiar and stress-free. In the evening, I feed them again, go for a final walk or play session, and make sure they’re settled in comfortably before bedtime.
