DO NOT RECOMMEND. We had to end this 6-day house-sitting booking on Day 3. We booked Casey for a 6-day house sit specifically because we needed our dogs cared for overnight. During the meet-and-greet, we clearly explained that overnight care and giving the dog’s attention was important to us. We were able to confirm items through Ring Cameras that were fully disclosed. On Day 1, Casey did not arrive until approximately 6:00 PM after agreeing to a 3:30PM arrival. She stayed for roughly 15 minutes. The dogs spent approximately 12 of those minutes outside, meaning they were not fed or given water after being in their kennels for the entire day as she was aware that we left early that morning. She then left and did not return that evening until 10:30PM. We followed up at 9pm to confirm she was coming back. Day 2 was acceptable. On Day 3, Casey was in and out throughout the morning and then left around 2:30 PM. She did not return until approximately 10:20 PM, stayed for about 10 minutes, and then left again. When she arrived, she discovered that one of our dogs was out of the kennel, indicating the kennel had not been properly secured. The dogs were outside during the entire 10 minutes she was there, so once again they were not fed or given water. We expected Casey to remain at the house overnight, as that was the reason we specifically booked house sitting and discussed our expectations during the meet-and-greet. At no point did she communicate that she would not be staying overnight or that there were any issues preventing her from doing so. To the contrary, she stated that was no big deal and would be able to spend extra time with them during the day. At approximately 12:30 AM, we attempted to contact her multiple times with no response and ultimately had to involve Rover. Given the lack of response we felt that our dogs had essentially been abandoned and neglected. We ended the booking at that point. Casey did not read our messages until after noon the following day. The biggest concern was not simply that she spent time away from the house. It was the combination of prolonged absences where the dogs got no food, water or attention during her visits, failure to properly secure our dog, lack of communication, and leaving us unable to reach her in the middle of the night. There were additional issues during the stay, but these were the most significant. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Casey for house sitting and believe she is not responsible enough to be a rover based on this experience.

Casey was great watching my two cats while I was gone for over a week! Very easy communication and she sent me so many photos which was great for my peace of mind. My cats warmed up to her so quickly and the photos she was sending me cuddling with the boys made me know my cats were well taken care of while I was away. I’d recommend Casey to anyone looking for someone to watch their pet while they are away, thanks Casey!

She is nice person, response very quick response at comfortable house. When I down to picking up, my cat relaxed like his house. He likes them and there.

Casey was very sweet and polite. She took excellent care of all my boys. She kept in touch and sent pictures. I would definitely hire her again!

Casey has always been an animal lover. She enjoys being around them anytime she can be. She is attentive to details and has always taken such good care of my cats and dogs. They adore her and know that they will be treated with affection and attention. I trust her to take good care of my fur babies when I have to be out of town.
