I will offer that service again soon!* After a brief break due to adjusting to a new, full-time job, I’m back to doing what I love: caring for your furry family members! With 50+ 5-star reviews and years of experience, I’m here to offer dependable, loving care again. I've had pets of my own my entire life and have cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors for years! I love being around animals and have 3 babies of my own. I'll love your best friend as much as I love my own! I am reliable, punctual, and energetic and always willing to do what I can to help out! I have an anxious, aggressive, and arthritic Chihuahua of my own, so I have experience with more "neurotic" pets as well as experience with medication. One of my cats is 13 years old, so I also have experience with senior care (as well as cat medication, too!). I also recently adopted a guinea pig and am getting a second one very soon, so have experience with “exotic” animals as well!

When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

Not pleased with the latest service, and I didn't even want to leave poor review however rover denied me a refund when I reached out, so I guess we all lose. Litter boxes were not scooped (new sealed trash bags were left on the counter, which were there for use after cleaning litter boxes), and the wrong food was fed to some of my animals after giving very detailed instructions on where to find the food we wanted given. We are flexible people and always strive to be understanding but I am never okay with my pets care being compromised for convenience. We even gave them an out to cancel the booking and they reassured us they were going. I would've rathered they cancelled if they were going to do the bare minimum.
Carson was super flexible when our plans changed and we needed help taking care of our cats! She communicated kindly and effectively and took the time to ensure our cats got their active play time in while we were away. Thanks Carson!

Carson took great care of our two goldendoodles and home while we were on vacation for a week. Lots of pictures and daily updates. Our home was clean and tidy when we returned. We’d definitely recommend Carson and hope she can sit for us again.

My cat loved having Carson stay with him. She spoiled him and took good care of my home. She sent pictures daily and gave him lots of attention. I’m lucky she was available fairly last minute. Thank you!

Planning
I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right!
