This is my full time job! I love walking during the day, offering doggie daycare, house sitting/overnights at your home and boarding at mine. Let me know what your needs may be and I’ll do my best to accommodate them.

We have a very secure 6 ft wooden fence around our large backyard yard but have a large yard and a large deck that we can close and relax on as well! Just because we have a yard, doesn’t mean we don’t venture out! We love to play off leash and walk! We are a 5 minute walk from Schenley park/ Frick park and live in a very beautiful, walkable area in squirrel hill. I’m a fan of traveling to other destinations if your furry friend likes adventure via car. Any animal that stays with us is treated like family. They get free range of the house and we will follow your care guidelines to keep them happy and comfortable. Many dogs here have bed privileges and having them join for story time in the evening in my youngest sons favourite. If they stay in my home, they must be good with other dogs, a cat and 2 boys aged 6 & 11. If you want me to stay in your home, I'm happy to do that as well. I realize there may be more than animal care needed when you're gone and I'm happy to help with additional items like bringing in mail, watering plants etc.

Let me know if you have any special needs when you reach out. Please tell me if your pets are neutered/spayed, microchipped, house trained or have any quirks/fears I should know about. I also like to use treats so it's important that I know if they can have them and if they have any allergies. It's also important for me to know what their exercise requirements/potty requirements are on a day to day basis.

Every dog is different and I try and tailor our time together so it's enjoyable for each and every dog. Tell me what your dog enjoys and I'll guarantee to keep them happy, exercised and entertained while you are gone.

Pet care experience
I have over 20 years experience caring for animals and have 2 french bulldogs. Sadly our chocolate lab and maincoon cat have passed. I have always loved working with animals! So much so, that I opened a dog walking/ pet sitting business in San Francisco. I miss working with animals and to this day so am hoping to fill that void by meeting some more furry friends here in Pittsburgh. I have decided to do this full-time and am looking for new clients. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments and animals know I’m an animal person. I was an active volunteer dog walker/trainer at the Sfspca and helped rehome dogs and know how to make dogs feel welcome and loved outside of their home environment. I'm that person that doesn't mind cooking food for your pet, and will go the extra mile to make your loved one comfortable. I love to exercise, am punctual, attentive and detail oriented and will ensure your dog/cat is happy while you’re gone. Expect updates and lots of pictures. I am a pet photographer and love to capture moments and share them with you of your loved one(s) having a good time. I have dog training experience and am happy to help with basic obedience using positive reinforcement training methods. Your loved ones will fell right at home and treated like family.

Lego stays with Carly whenever we go out of town, and she loves it there! Carly plans lots of fun adventures for the pups, showers Lego with lots of love, and is very understanding when travel snafus pop up. Can’t recommend Carly highly enough!
Rosie loves it at Carly's house. She gets to play with other dogs and longers walks with Carly than with me.
Carly was an absolute gem with our dear Twig. She was so kind, and flexible, and conscientious and Twig was very, very happy with her. She was caring, responsive, and shared lots of photos. We could not recommend her more highly and will keep our fingers crossed that the next time we go out of town she and her family are available!
We are already arranging for Rosie to stay with Carly next time we are out of town.
