I’ve been taking care of animals since a young age and turned that into a career that I am hugely passionate about! I am a pet CPR certified pet groomer of 8 years and I have a special needs pups of my own so I understand all different types of care and that every pet is different. I have experience with IVDD and other back disorders as well as senior care, blind dogs, pets with high anxiety, large dogs and our feline friends. Being a professional pet groomer keeps me up to date with the latest care and a wide variety of experience. PLEASE feel free to shoot me a message regarding any questions!

Safety and comfort are my number one goals when watching your babies. Unless I’m working your pet is under my constant supervision, please reach out to discuss details about my hours of work if that’s a concern for you! Let’s make sure we are a good fit and I can meet your pets needs. Your pets are treated like my own when they are under my care and supervision, the exact way I’d want someone to care for my pets when I’m away. I do require a meet and greet so your pets and I can get to know each other and I can get a good idea of the care you’d like and your pets daily activities. A list of all medical issues, information on their usual vet, behavioral issues, medications and allergies (or anything you can think of that I might need) needs to be left where I can access it for quick reference.

We love Carissa and so do our fur babies. She takes wonderful care of our babies. She even took our puppy to the vet for us when he reopened his surgical site. She always goes above and beyond and we are lucky to have her.
Carissa is great! She’s cared for our pups twice now, one long stay and one overnight. She’s reliable, great with our pups, sends frequent pics/updates and flexible. Highly recommend working with her!
Carissa did an amazing job caring for our dogs and cat while we were on vacation. She sent regular updates and pics and videos. I didn’t worry one bit while we were gone. She had hands full since he of our dogs is still a puppy and she handled everything so well. We will definitely have her stay with our fur babies again. Thank you, Carissa!!
Carissa is one of the most compassionate animal caregivers I have ever met! She always puts the health and wellness of the pets in her care first. She has experience with special needs pets, administering medications and physical care. She goes the extra mile to keep our pets safe by being CPR/First Aid certified. She is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge with extra educational seminars and workshops. She is beyond reliable and always on time. She is trustworthy and honestly I would trust anyone else with my beloved pets. She has experience with different types of animals including but I'm sure not limited to dogs, cats, rabbits and reptiles. I love that she has extensive experience professionally working with animals, and always feel my pets are safe in her care!
I’m not sure where to start. Carissa has been a part of our furbabies lives for about 5 1/2 years. Bubba and Kahuna love her beyond belief. When I mention her name they get super excited. I would not trust anyone else them. She knows their quirks and they love her. We live in Tracy and she lives in Oakdale and every 4 weeks or so we are willing to make the drive out their as she makes our furbabies feel important and extremely special and they know to her they are. She would be an asset to Rover and would take amazing care of any and all fur babies entrusted to her. Bubba and Kahuna wish to give her a 10 out of 10 paws. Carissa has been caring for my boy since he was 12 weeks old! When Simba is with her I never have to worry, I know she has his best interest in mind and does right by HIM, not me or herself but him. I couldn't ask for a better groomer and house/pet sitter when we’re away, she’s trustworthy, reliable and my dog adores her. What more could you want? Oh and she’s CPR certified, I leave my boy and have complete peace of mind when I’m away because of her. Thank you Carissa!

Dates de la garde
I do work part time but working at a vets office as a groomer has its perks with being flexible! My schedule can vary but for pets who are use to owners being at work for part of the day never seem to mind! My typical day is about 4-6 hours. Dogs who are comfortable could possibly attend work with me, just depending on the pup and their needs and your wants.
