I have owned all manner of pets since a you g age. Having since married in to a farming family, i have also cared for both working dogs and ‘lap dogs’ from all stages of life, from pregnancies and training puppies, to senior care and ill health. We have lovely woodland which can provide both peaceful and active walks, to suit your pets needs! I am happy to go at their pace and be instructed by you as to what is the best care for them. You know your pet best!

Caragh and her family welcomed Brody & made him part of their family. He walked straight into to their home without even looking back. Photos were sent to us showing what a lovely time he had at the farm & cuddling up to everyone. Highly recommend. Your dog will feel secure & safe. Highly recommend.
Hugo absolutely loves going to stay with Caragh and the family and we are more than happy with how Joe is looked after, they treat him as part of the family
Caragh and James provided a great home for Jasmine. She was really well looked after and had great exercise. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Caragh and her family are super friendly. Connie came back totally worn out from all the activities they had done over the weekend on the farm with her. Connie was definitely well looked after. I would have no hesitation in using Caragh again.

From first meeting James and Caragh for the meet and greet they instantly put me and ease. They are very clued up on dogs and seemed to have a natural way with them. I was very worried as I’d never left my dogs before to go on holiday. My old boy is 16 and younger one is 4. They are both cockerpoos and love to be with me at all times and are quite needy. But James and Caragh put me at ease and assured me they be fine. And they were. They’ve had an amazing holiday and had lots of fun running through the fields on the farm and playing by the stream. I don't think they missed me as they've had lots going on with the puppies and Minnie the sheepdog kept them both in line when needed!!!. Also thanks too the children who walked them and played with them too. I picked them both up yesterday after an 8 night stay and they were happy and exhausted , they were excited to see me although Rusty the younger dog cried all the way home as he loved Caragh so much🥰 I would defo book again but not so sure James and Caragh would have them or want to give up there beds again but hopefully!!🤞🤞 Sorry about the sleeping arrangements Caragh and James, you will be glad to have your bed back without the boys!!! Also the scenting I’m sorry but like you said Caragh boys will be boys!!!. I’ve also recommend you to my mums neighbour and my dog walking friends in cartmel . Thanks again both you can now rest without your shadows!! Xxx🐾🐶❤️

Schedule
I am a farm wife and stay at home mum. This leaves me with a very flexible schedule from AM to PM, weekday to weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a beautiful woods where i regularly take our dogs and am familiar with different routes for different endurances. If your pet is more comfortable alone then that can be easily accommodated with 1 on 1 time for the duration of their walk. I am also happy to accustom myself to the running and routine of your own homes for visits also.

A typical day
We have a large woodland area with lots of different smells, terrain and things for your pet to experience. Most loved is the river and all the sticks they could wish for!
