Hi! I’m Cara, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, and a proud dog mom to Lola. We offer boutique, in-home boarding, accepting only one family’s pets at a time. That means your dog won’t be mixed with unfamiliar dogs from other households, allowing for a calmer, lower-stress stay with plenty of one-on-one attention. My partner works from home full-time, so there’s almost always someone home for supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and plenty of love throughout the day. We also have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, along with daily walks tailored to each dog’s energy level. Lola is our friendly, well-mannered resident dog who loves making new friends. She’s great with people, dogs, and other animals, and helps many visiting pups settle in quickly. I’m just getting back into Rover, so I’m offering introductory rates for a limited time while I build up reviews. I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing.

Cara is the best!! I had my dogs stay with her and her fiancé for 6 nights. She sent pictures and updates daily. My dogs were super comfortable with her and her dog, Lola. Cara has a large, fenced backyard which made my dogs the happiest! I will definitely book with Cara again.

Schedule
Our schedule is designed around your pet’s needs. I work Monday–Friday from 8 AM–4 PM, while my partner (Colton) works from home full-time, so there’s almost always someone home for supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime. Morning and evening walks are part of our routine, weather permitting, and because we only board one family’s pets at a time, your dog receives personalized attention in a calm, low-stress environment.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We only accept dogs from one household at a time, creating a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of personalized attention. Dogs are supervised whenever we’re home and enjoy a large, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and relaxation. With experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, including crate routines and administering basic medications, so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning walk or playtime in our large, fenced yard, followed by breakfast and time to relax. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy plenty of companionship, supervised outdoor breaks, naps, and play, with someone home nearly all day. Because we only host one family’s pets at a time, each dog receives personalized attention in a calm, low-stress environment. Evenings include another walk or yard time, playtime, dinner, and lots of relaxation before bedtime.
