Aside from Rover, my schedule is very open. I try to keep my availability updated daily so it is as accurate as possible. I am comfortable with early morning and late evening visits if this is the schedule that works best for you and your dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I have another dog and a cat that live with me. For dogs that I foster/sit, I always make sure to keep the dogs in the same room as I am in at all times. I allow dogs up on the furniture/beds unless the owner requests otherwise. Dogs do not have access to the cat facilities. I always make sure to provide lots of playtime, toys, pets and snuggles, as they deserve! In the owners home, I make sure to do not disturb any belongings aside from those necessary to care for the pups. I provide sufficient playtime according to the dogs energy level.
Information Brooke P. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know any temperament issues your dogs have. If they are typically dog or human aggressive or any other behavioral details that are important to know. These are a nonissue, but it will reduce the probability of any surprises during the booking.
A typical day
I love playing in the backyard with my pups. We throw the ball and exercise that way. Then in the evening I will either take my pups to the dog park or on a long sunset stroll. For higher energy dogs, I like to take them on my evening runs with me up to 4 miles.

Pet care experience
Thanks for clicking on my page! I’m an animal lover through and through. Growing up on a ranch, raising livestock and caring for animals of all kinds, I became comfortable with everything from small pets to large animals at a young age. My passion for animal care and welfare eventually led me to become a wildlife biologist. I’m currently a PhD student at the University of Florida studying large hawks and eagles! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up helping my mother at her veterinary hospital, walking, grooming, and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve also been pet sitting for over 12 years and have provided care through Rover during school breaks for the past 3 years. I have extensive experience caring for large dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats. As a pet owner myself, I understand that every animal has unique needs and quirks. I have cats of my own, as well as a large Dogo Argentino who is dog-reactive, so I’m very comfortable handling strong dogs, leash pullers, jumpers, barkers (or as I like to call them, “talkers”), and pets that need a little extra patience and understanding. I also have experience caring for blind and deaf pets, both through Rover and in my personal life. For dogs with higher energy levels, I’m happy to provide extra exercise. I regularly run 8–10 miles a day, so if your dog enjoys running and you’d like them to get in some additional miles during a drop-in or walk, just let me know! My goal is always to provide safe, attentive, and loving care while giving owners complete peace of mind. I’m comfortable cleaning up accidents, administering basic care routines, and I take pride in leaving your home exactly as I found it. Living in Florida, I’m also especially mindful of heat safety and carefully monitor dogs during walks and outdoor activities to help prevent overheating. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions—we can chat and see if I’m the right fit for your furry family member!
Reviews

Brooke is so communicative and great! I really appreciate all the pics, and I can tell Cooper is really enjoying his walks. Our cat has even warmed up to her and us showing her birds out the window, which we love to see

Brooke was really great! Very communicative and took wonderful care of our pup, Vienna. Would highly recommend her for those looking for trustworthy and excellent pet sitters!

Brooke was kind and patient with our fur babies. She is knowledgeable, skilled, professional and attentive. Brooke immediately calmed whatever nerves we had, and we knew our pets were in great hands. Will definitely book on the future.

10/10! No notes :)
