I have been a lifelong dog owner and have had the privilege of caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. Seven years ago, I began providing professional pet sitting services, allowing me to expand my experience by caring for pets from many different families. Throughout the years, I have worked with puppies, senior dogs, and both small and large breeds, giving me the knowledge and confidence to provide compassionate, reliable, and personalized care for each dog's unique needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I generally prefer for pets to remain in the comfort of their own home while I care for them. In my experience, staying in a familiar environment can help reduce stress and anxiety and allows pets to maintain their normal routines, making the overall experience more comfortable and enjoyable for them. If staying in their own home is not an option, I am also able to accommodate pets in my home. I have a friendly dog and a cat who are accustomed to having other animals around. I live in an apartment and have access to a secure, fenced-in area where dogs can enjoy some supervised outdoor time and exercise. Regardless of where your pet stays, their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities!

Brooke has done a great job caring for our cats. We have requested her on three or four occasions. They are very fond of her. One of our cats has diabetes, and Brooke has given him insulin shots, something I consider to be above and beyond the call of duty for a pet sitter. We recommend Brooke wholeheartedly!

Schedule
I currently work a full-time position Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Because of my work schedule, I am generally available for pet care before 6:30 AM and after 4:30 PM on weekdays. With advance notice, I may also be available on weekends and holidays. For the safety and well being of the dogs in my care, I will no longer be accepting dog-walking clients during the summer months (June–September). High temperatures and extreme heat can quickly become dangerous for dogs, increasing the risk of heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and burned paw pads. Because the health and safety of every pet in my care is my top priority, I believe it is in their best interest to pause dog-walking services during the hottest months and resume once the weather becomes cooler and safer. - Before your pet’s stay or visit, I ask that you please share as much information as possible about their routine, needs, and personality. There is truly no such thing as too much information when it comes to providing the best care for your pet! Please let me know about any medications or supplements your pet takes, including dosage and timing. I am comfortable administering oral medications as well as injectable medications when needed, and I will always follow your instructions carefully. I’d also love to know about anything your pet may be sensitive or fearful of, such as fireworks, thunderstorms, loud noises, separation from their owners, other animals, or certain situations. Knowing these things ahead of time allows me to be prepared and help your pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Please also let me know about dietary restrictions, allergies, feeding schedules, treat preferences, favorite toys, sleeping habits, potty routines, and any behaviors or quirks that may be important for me to know. If treats are okay, feel free to let me know what types and how often you typically give them! Whether it’s something small like their favorite spot to nap or something more important like a medication schedule or specific fear, I want to know. The more I understand about your pet, the better I can maintain their normal routine and provide personalized, safe, and loving care while you’re away. Please never hesitate to include any information you think might be helpful! You know your pet best, and I want to make sure I care for them exactly the way you would.
