Hi! I'm Brooke, a grad student at Columbia University and lifelong animal lover! I grew up with 2 dogs, a rescue and shitzu poodle mix and have always loved being around animals. During school, I’ve had the opportunity to dog walk, dog sit, and provide overnight boarding for many different families. Through these experiences, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, and have learned how to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. As an active person, I especially love getting dogs outside for walks, playtime, and exercise! I’m also very attentive to each dog’s individual needs and personality, whether your pup wants a long walk, lots of playtime, or just some company while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away! ❤️🐶

Brooke is amazing with dogs! I always feel super comfortable and confident going out of town because I know my dogs are being taken care of. It’s so hard to find someone who cares for your dogs the way you do and Brooke does exactly that!
Brooke is amazing! She has watched my dog Remus several times now and is always responsible and dependable. She has never forgotten to give him lots of walks, food, and attention. Remus loves Brooke and feels comfortable and safe in her care. I appreciate that I can leave both my dog and my home in her hands without worrying about a single thing. Highly recommend!

Schedule
My class schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 8 AM–12 PM and Thursday from 12–4 PM, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care outside of those hours. I’m also fully available on weekends for walks, check-ins, boarding, and daycare!

I live in a pet-friendly building in a one-bedroom apartment with no other pets, so your pup will have a calm and comfortable space all to themselves.
A typical day
Outside of class, I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time studying from home, so I’m able to be attentive and available for your pup throughout the day! I also love taking walking breaks while I study, making dog walks the perfect excuse to get outside and spend time with your pup. I’m also just a 5-minute walk from the Hudson River Greenway (West Side Highway), that has plenty of green space and walking paths nearby for walks, playtime, and exploring! I’m happy to tailor walks and activities to your dog’s energy level and routine.

- I’m happy to send photo updates throughout their stay, am open to a meet-and-greet beforehand, and can administer medications if needed. I’m also happy to care for up to 2 dogs, but I prefer to only watch dogs from just one family at a time so they get my full attention.
