Trusty dog-loving South African
I’m Brittany and I’m originally from South Africa. I moved over in Jan 2021 and have been living here ever since. One of the biggest things I miss about home are my wonderful fur babies. I have grown up with dogs my whole life & absolutely adore animals. Throughout high school I often would house sit and look after friends/neighbours’ dogs either short-term or long-term. Because I don’t have my dogs over here with me, I hope to be able to share that love I have for dogs with your fur babies! Happy to answer any questions!

Brittany was great to correspond with, flexible and responsive. She kept us well updated and sent pictures from the adventures she and Jerry our dog had been on. It was nice to see them out and about in the city. We came home to a contented dog. We would definitely book Brittany another time.
It was last minute but Brittany was great, friendly, polite and both doggos were happy! Also I ran late and she was able to accommodate an extra 30mins 🫶🏼
Brittany was fantastic! She was super responsive before the booking started, and sent lots of pictures and updates while she was with our dogs. Overall we had a great experience with Brittany and will definitely use her in the future!
Very impressed. Our cat can be aloof and anxious around strangers but we returned to settled and happy kitty. Lots of reassuring updates and pictures. Great job!
We can not thank Brittany enough. She cared for Cyril like he was her own. So much so he’s actually pining for her!! We were able to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing he was happy and cared for. Brittany stayed at our house with him and the house was spotless when we arrived home and she’d even changed the beds for us. We will definitely be keeping in touch and I know Cyril can’t wait to see her again. Thank you for being so awesome Brittany x
Brittany is lovely, friendly and amenable. Jura likes her, greeting her happily at the door. Brittany had a sleepover with Jura, and there were no problems at all - just lots of happy photos.

Schedule
I currently am a nanny in Barnes from 1-7pm so my mornings are free to help out with any care for animals/walks. I can dog/house sit during this time if it’s within a good distance from home and allows for a pet to be left alone for those hours in the afternoon.

Safety, trust & environment
As a person who has experienced getting a dog sitter myself, I know the anxious feeling you get wondering if your babies will be kept safe and treated well. I can tell you I am very respectful of people’s homes and making sure the animals are always kept safe. As my mom always said to me, “rather be safe than sorry” - so I am very cautious when it comes to animals. I am also super generous with the amount of love I give to animals.
A typical day
I’m always excited to go for walks in nice parks or woods so I’m able to take the dogs on lovely walks in & around the area. Those that do enjoy playing fetch, I’d love to play with them as much as possible to make the experience fun for the dogs. During house sitting, I would ensure to play with the dogs that enjoy doing that or just giving heaps of cuddles & love to the ones that don’t engage in play that much! My main goal is always to get a dogs tail wagging!
