I have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule. I am typically available before 9 AM and between 2 PM and 7 PM. I am also available for overnight home stays.

Maintaining safety and establishing trust (of both the pet and the humans) are priorities for me when I care for pets in a client's home. I am always aware that I am a guest in their home, and I keep the space clean and secure. I avoid moving things or changing established routines. I do my best to maintain the pet's sense of normalcy and comfort while their people are away.

A typical day
A typical day will depend on each individual pet's usual routine and preferences. Walks in parks or on trails and playing fetch are activities that a lot of my dog clients enjoy. I love playing with cats as well.

Pet care experience
Animals of all shapes and sizes have always been part of my life. Growing up, I had two lovely cats and volunteered regularly at a horse rescue sanctuary. After college, I worked for the Humane Society, where I looked after dogs and horses with varying levels of care needs. I regularly dog-sit for an Australian cattle dog, and I'm honored to be one of only a few people with whom she agrees to go for walks. I also regularly pet-sit for a household with two dogs and two cats. I am experienced in accommodating specialized feeding and medication protocols for puppies, senior dogs, and all ages in between, as well as for adult cats. I'm skilled at understanding animal body language and behavioral cues. I care deeply about my relationships with animals, and I do my best to ensure that every pet feels safe, respected, and loved.

I can't say enough about Brenna as a pet sitter! Our dog, Mila, is a sweetie pie with a lot of anxiety and eccentricities and is very picky about who she will let care for her, but Brenna is at the top of her list. Brenna is at the top of our list, too! She's so responsive to us, takes care of anything we need her to do, and keeps us updated while we're away. She's cared for Mila at our home for short term visits and for two multi-week trips and has been an absolute rock each time. She's also great about sending us cute little photo and video updates of what Mila is up to! When Brenna is taking care of Mila, we know that not only are Mila's physical needs being met, but that Brenna is going the extra mile to cuddle with Mila, play with her, and make her feel loved while we're away. 11/10, can't recommend enough.
Brenna has taken excellent care of our two dogs and two cats on multiple occasions. She is very responsive, communicative and reliable. She has stayed in our home while we're away and managed our pets multiple walking and feeding schedules and needs. She clearly loves animals. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our pets are in such capable hands. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, attentive and compassionate pet sitter.
