I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Growing up in a home with up to 12 dogs at a time, I was one of the primary caregivers, so I’m very comfortable handling multiple pets and different personalities. I’ve also cared for cats, birds, reptiles, and fish, and I bring a calm, patient approach to every animal I work with. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have experience with basic training (sit, place, leash manners) as well as more playful skills like fetch—and even the occasional howl. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can be reliable, responsive, and available when you need help. I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for you.

Ben was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Pablo. Pablo is a small Chihuahua and can be a bit particular, but Ben was incredibly patient and took the time to make him feel comfortable. I really appreciated how attentive and understanding he was, by the end, Pablo was not only relaxed but even going on longer walks, which says a lot. Ben is highly passionate about animals. His calm and friendly demeanor makes him extremely approachable—for both people and pets! I’ve seen firsthand the care and attention he gives to animals, not just his own but also those of friends and family. He treats every animal the way he would want his own pets treated—with care and love. He is reliable, trustworthy, and communicative, and I would highly recommend him for pet sitting.
He absolutely loves animals. His family has had more dogs than I can remember over the years, he grew up taking care of all of them. Most notably, they had a litter of half Golden and half Australian shepherd puppies. These dogs were crazy, but he helped take care of all of them, and eventually took one of the puppies for himself. He had "Dude" for over 10+ years, and he was one of the best dogs I ever met. I would highly recommend Ben for Rover.
