Pet care experience
Personalized pet care provider
Four years ago I adopted a corgi named Pippin. When I got him, I did not know his history or what environment he was raised in. He came to me incredibly reactive to other dogs, but over time I was able to train him to handle encounters in a safe manner. For the next few years he will be living with my wife while she attends grad school. I would love to care for your dog until my little guy comes back home. I will provide personalized and attentive care to your pup the way I would for my own Pippin.

Ratings and reviews
Ben did a fantastic job watching our 2 cats theo and willow. Cats be slightly "easier" than dogs in the sense you don't have to walk them, but Ben still put a ton of care into making sure they weren't stressed, got some play time and affection, and sending consistent updates on their well being. It took away our stress of what 2 cats home alone might be feeling / doing while we were gone. I wish we still lived near him as he'd be our go to every vacation. Want a sitter or walker you can be confident in and feel like you dont have to stress about your pets? Pick Ben!
Ben is such a kind and caring paw parent to his corgi, Pippin. And he’s great with other dogs too: he ensures that the dog(s) in his care get the exercise and mental engagement they need on walks, and he’s great at handling reactive dogs. I highly recommend hiring Ben for walks and boarding.

Schedule
I work an M-F office job that is 10 minutes from my apartment. My evenings and weekends are completely free, but my job still allows me to come home midday to check on your pup if you need any weekday care.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is incredibly pet friendly. My own dog is living with my wife while she attends grad school so I will be able to provide all the care and attention your dog deserves. My apartment is located near a variety of parks and trails, so they will get some wonderful exercise.
A typical day
Generally weekends start early for me, with a cup of iced coffee and a walk around town with your dog. If you have an active pup, then an afternoon visit to the park nearby is in order for a game of fetch. If your furry friend is a couch potato, no worries, I’ve still got a ways to go on my Mad Men rewatch. If you’ve got a social pup, there are dozens of friendly dogs in my building for them to meet during walks. If they’re anti-social, I know the secret exit so they don’t have any other canines to annoy them.
