To give your pets the best care, it helps to know what makes them happy, any triggers or sensitivities, special needs, and their daily routine. We can go through all of this in our meet-and-greet so I can get to know them properly!
A typical day
I like to ensure each dog I care for gets enough stimulation so I will take them on some really good walks which allow them to be surrounded by nature (as opposed to walking them on a concrete path!)

I’ve grown up with animals and have been professionally pet sitting for 4 years caring for dogs, cats and small pets. I’m so lucky to have lots of lovely repeat owners.

Ben was an exemplary sitter, looking after three cats for three weeks. He sent us regular updates and photos and was extremely easy to deal with. He went above and beyond for one of our cats who has a tendency to wander: we are very grateful for all his efforts in finding him. The house was immaculate on our return. Could not rate him highly enough!
Ben recently looked after our American Akita, Ozzy, whilst we were away for a week for our wedding. Ozzy has never been left with anyone other than family before so we were very apprehensive about leaving him, but we really needn’t have been - Ben was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have looked after Ozzy. We received regular updates during our time away, the house was returned to us as it was left and Ben even politely offered to strip the bedding prior to our return! All instructions were followed to a T and Ozzy was actually a bit down in the dumps after Ben left to go home… safe to say Ozzy has made a new human friend and we will 100% be booking Ben again in the future and would recommend anyone else considering doing so to go for it! :-)
Ben looked after our boy on an incredibly hot and uncomfortable day, and with Ozzy being an American Akita he really struggles in this environment. We found that Ben looked after all of Ozzy’s needs during the period of his dog sit, and Ozzy seemed to really like Ben and was comfortable with him from their initial meet and greet :-) Ben is able to walk Ozzy (55kg) without any issues and was very respectful of our property - everything was left as it was when we left the house. This was our first time using Rover (and any kind of dog sitting service in general), and we are SO happy that we found Ben. We look forwards to seeing Ben again in a little over a week when we go on holiday and I will certainly be recommending him to local family and friends.
Ben did a great job looking after my Lab, after a week away came home to a happy well looked after dog. Ben was great and sent over updates and pictures to show how they were getting on. Would definitely recommend Ben to look after your fur baby and shall be using again the next time we go away.
