Pet care is a daily routine for me as I have a dog of my own. I currently have an open schedule so that allows me to adapt to the needs of any pet that I am looking after without interference.

My roommates and I all have our own pets so we have created an environment that meets all of their needs. The larger dogs spend the majority of the day in our fully fenced yard but are crate trained when necessary. Our smaller, older dogs choose to spend their days relaxing indoors with frequent potty breaks. Having that environment at home allows me to care for any pets the best way for them. However your pet is most comfortable, I can provide that.

A typical day
My favorite activity’s with pets would be going for a walk around the neighborhood or playing with their favorite toy in the backyard or in the house if allowed!

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Bella, a pet owner and animal lover. I grew up on a farm with a wide variety of pets my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, livestock, and household pets. Growing up I had a wide range of animals and started my pet sitting career with neighbors and family friends. Over the years I have continued pet sitting in any city I lived in. I have extensive experience primarily with dogs and cats, but am more than comfortable with pets outside of that (especially farm animals.) I have a dog of my own who is reaching her senior years so I feel comfortable with extra care needs such as giving medications, any eye or ear care, and special dietary requirements. Pet sitting allows me to give lots of love to your fur babies while giving their owners peace of mind while away.

Bella took great care of Mango!
We left our mini poodle, Meadow, with Bella and I’m so glad we did. She was incredibly responsive from the start, and sent the sweetest photo updates of Meadow — by the water and at the park — which gave us so much peace of mind. Meadow has some anxiety, and Bella took the time to check in and ask thoughtful questions about how to help her feel more comfortable. That level of care meant a lot to us. Bella (and her partner, Riley) took such good care of Meadow. If you’re looking for someone in the Tahoe area who is genuinely attentive, patient, and caring, Bella is definitely a top choice!
Bella was able to help dog sit after a last minute work requirement came up. Porter is a high energy dog so it is always stressful to leave him, but Bella sent lots of updates and photos to bring peace of mind. We would definitely book with Bella again!
Bella was fabulous with our 10 month old dog. She is very reliable and responsible. She has a great attitude and is a joy to work with. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her in the future.
