Pet care experience
Pet Lover With Rescue Experience
I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always considered them part of the family. I grew up with dogs, mostly larger breeds, including my most recent dog who is around 120 pounds. I’ve also had cats my whole life and currently have four, along with experience caring for birds, lizards, and other animals. Most of my pets have been rescues or animals that needed extra patience and care. My dog Delta was very nervous and fearful when we adopted her from the pound, and my dog Boone had been abused and was initially very afraid of men. These experiences taught me how important it is to be patient, respect an animal’s boundaries, and build trust at their own pace. I’m currently in college and away from my own pets, so pet sitting is a great way for me to get my animal fix while giving your pets the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels!

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment and keep their normal routine. I know being away from their people can be stressful, so I’ll do my best to make things feel as normal and comfortable as possible. I can follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, playtime, medication, and bedtime routines, while also giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and cared for just like I would want my own pets to be.
Ratings and reviews
A Big Shout Out to Bailey! Bailey has taken care of my very precious and much loved Doodles a couple of times. Riley and Gauge are always happy to see her: that is a testimony in itself! Bailey is caring and mindful of our Doodles needs. She genuinely loves animals. Bailey is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a reliable and honest person to take care of their pet. I will call her every time to take care of Riley and Gauge. April

Schedule
I’m currently a college student who also works part-time, so my schedule has plenty of flexibility. I’m able to work with different schedules and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. I love having the opportunity to spend my free time with animals, and I’m happy to give your furry family member plenty of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away!

- I have about 16 years of personal experience caring for animals. I've had pets since I was very young and have been hands-on with their daily care throughout my life, including feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning, exercise, playtime, and learning their individual personalities. Before caring for your pet, I love to know about their temperament, personality, and any triggers or sensitivities they may have. Every pet has their own quirks, and I think those little details are important. For example, one of my own dogs, Delta, was initially triggered by people wearing hats, while my other dog, Boone, was very nervous around men until we patiently worked through it together. I'd also love to know the little things that make your pet unique and comfortable. Maybe they have a favorite toy, need a certain blanket or pillow tucked around them at bedtime, have a particular way they like to be greeted, or insist on taking a specific path on their walks. Those details may seem small, but they're what make your furry family member unique and themselves. Please also let me know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, fears, behavioral concerns, and how they interact with people or other animals. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make them feel safe, understood, and at home while you're away. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to caring for animals. I want to give your pet the same patience, attention, and individualized care I'd want someone to give mine.
