Hi! My name is Ava. I grew up with dogs all my life and have fostered dogs as well. I also have experience with other animals through fostering (cats, birds, and bunnies). I have fear-free shelter certificates in dog behavior / dog training. As well as years of experience in volunteering at Meridian Canine Rescue. I can train puppies or younger dogs, help with senior dog care, and I have experience with administering medications or helping with dogs with healthcare issues. I have also worked with dogs with behavioral complications in the past that may require more in-depth first-meetings to ensure the dogs are comfortable around me.

I have years of experience with dog enrichment, to ensure that your dogs are as happy as can be! I am also open to taking your dogs on walks as often as needed in their routine! Several of my past clients have several dogs, so I am used to walking and taking care of several dogs at the same time. I enjoy providing enrichment and fun training to ensure a healthy and fun environment for your dog. I will also help with whatever dog training that my clients will want help with- I have experience with different training fields, like training dogs to behave well in car rides or to have good walking manners.

As our first time using Rover, we scrolled through lots of options for a sitter, but after reading reviews, we felt Ava would be a good fit. And we made the right choice. After booking, we set up a time for her to meet us and Coby, and we felt a sense of relief that Coby would be in good hands. Ava arrived at the scheduled time, which allowed us to leave after we said our "see you laters" to Coby. Soon we were on the road, knowing Coby was being taken care of with Walks, Feedings, and support as she would be missing us too. Ava provided us with good communication and pictures, and it allowed us to not have to worry about Coby at all. We would definitely recommend Ava for anyone needing a dog sitter, and will most likely use her again in the future.
Ava is very attentive and detail-oriented; I completely trust her with my dog. She is super flexible, easy to work with, and has lots of experience with dogs from different backgrounds. Super lucky I found her!

Ava watched our dogs over the weekend and she was great. She sent several updates with pictures each day and she did everything we asked. She left the house very tidy and it seemed like the dogs loved her! Hope we can use her for future trips.
Ava was amazing! She provided plenty of updates and went above and beyond when taking care of my puppy (who’s a bit of a handful). As an example, My door was broken and not unlocking while I was on a plane and Ava stayed there the whole time working with maintenance and a locksmith in order to save the pup. Additionally she even gave him a new toy and plenty of new snacks! Will definitely be using Ava if we can!

Schedule
I am a full-time college student at Boise State University. During my school days (Tuesday/Thursday), I am open to help with whatever is needed after my class times end. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I am typically completely open. If you are interested, then I will send over my schedule to see if it works with you!
