I work 8:30–5 in Cedar Bluff, so I’m usually available early mornings, evenings, and fully open on weekends. I’m pretty structured with my time, so when I commit to a pet, I will plan around them and make sure they’re not rushed or squeezed in. I’m used to balancing a busy schedule, and I always make pet care something I’m fully present for when I’m there!

I grew up on a farm, so I’ve basically been around animals my whole life; dogs, cats, and a mix of everything else that comes with that! I’m really comfortable with all temperaments, breeds, and ages, whether it’s a high-energy dog that needs structure or a senior pet that needs a slower, more patient approach. I’ve trained dogs before and I understand how they communicate through behavior and body language, which helps me read situations quickly and keep things calm and safe. I’m the type of person who doesn’t get overwhelmed easily with animals, and feel really comfortable with them! I treat every pet like they’re my own, with love, and application of knowledge of the breed.

Ava was just wonderful caring for my fur family. I was so nervous leaving my little Ricky puppy at home because he always gets so anxious when I leave. Usually he gets so worked up that he tears up everything he can find, but with Ava there I rested assured that he was doing good. Ava sent me many pictures of my sweet Ricky and kept me updated. The house was spotless when I came home. I will definitely be using Ava again for pet sitting and dog walking!
Ava, has cared for 6 of our dogs. From GSD to chihuahua. She is on time and completes all the tasks perfectly. She is warm and loving, but knows how to be a pack leader with our GSD. Each one of our dogs are super comfortable and so happy to see her when she arrives! You can clearly tell she loves animals and they live her! I fully trust her in our home, and with our animals.
