Thank you for letting us love on your four-legged friend while you are gone! We are a family of 4 and feel that a home isn't complete without a fur baby to love on and we would love to open our home to your dog while you are away. We have experience with dogs of all ages, medical needs, chewing habits, and anything else you can imagine! We have our own dog, Rey, and know the importance of finding a safe and loving place for him to stay when we need to travel without him. Rey is a 12 year old chimatian (a chihuahua/dalmatian mix) about 20 pounds in size and has done great with the various dogs that have come and gone from our home. I am a retired teacher now working from home so I am able to provide potty breaks and cuddles on demand. With Rey and two kids in our home (the youngest is 13), your little love is sure to get lots of love and attention, including walks around our peaceful neighborhood. We also have a large garden that is securely fenced in so even escape artists can’t escape. You can rest assured that your pup will be happy and well-cared for while in our home!

Would definitely recommend Ashley and Todd and planning on booking again. They boarded our Cocker Spaniel Berry. We had an introductory meeting at their home first which really helped and they took the time to get to know Berry’s behaviours and schedule. We were given updates throughout the boarding and the whole family was very welcoming.

Monty had a wonderful time boarding with Ashley and her family and got on very well with their super sweet dog Rey. Ashley is lovely and caring and you can see that she is very experienced with handling dogs. Monty was immediately at ease in her house and did not hesitate to show her affection from the first moment we met. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and caring environment for their furry baby.
We never have any worries leaving Humphrey with Ashley, Todd and their family! Humphrey is so well loved and looked after - a mini break for him in a home away from home.
Casper loved his stay with Ashley and Todd. He was very much loved and treated as part of the family they kept us updated as to how he was doing and he looked totally at home. Thank you for all you did and for anyone reading this we can highly recommend Ashley and Todd to look after your dog ! ☺️

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I do have kids of my own so occasionally I am off with them at an event or practice for a short time.

I have a fully secured back garden and dogs are allowed on the furniture (if you like) while they stay with us. We do have stairs going up but I am able to block them if needed. While in your home I will be sure to open and close doors carefully and allow time for your pet to approach me.

A typical day
Your dog will have plenty of opportunities for love and attention in our home. This could mean walks through our neighborhood or playing chase in our yard with our kids. If your pup likes to play with toys in the house, we have several to choose from! Or if your pooch prefers to cuddle up, there are plenty of laps and arms available!
