Fortunately, my schedule is very flexible, as I’m not tied to a corporate 9-5 job, and my degree program is 40% online. This allows me to prioritize my pet-sitting business and adapt to the unique needs of each client and their pets. I take your flexibility into account when planning my stay; knowing YOUR flexibility on the demands of your pet and the needs of your home as a client and pet owner allows me to coordinate groceries, packing appropriately, and consider weather conditions and activities in your area during the booking dates. With 20 years of caregiving experience—including working as an In-Home Care Provider for the State of California and nannying for children—combined with my professional home and pet-sitting services since 2018, I bring a wealth of expertise to every booking. This work not only sustains me financially but also supports my academic focus as I work toward my engineering degree. As a full-time home and pet sitter, my other commitments include only non-paid internships, church, and school. I work remotely from my laptop, often doing film editing in post-production and mastering music during my stays. This setup allows me to spend quality time with your pets while ensuring they’re not left alone for long periods, (unless otherwise stated). I also incorporate music therapy into my care routine, creating a calming and stress-free environment for your furry companions. My rates for house sitting are charged by the night, not by the day, to make my services as affordable as possible while covering school expenses, gas, and living costs. If you require extended daytime care, like my 24/7 presence, homestead and farm sitting, or other specialized arrangements, I am happy to discuss and adjust rates accordingly to meet your needs. Open and transparent communication is key for me, to ensure I fully understand your expectations and provide the best care possible for your pets and home. Ashley was great and did a wonderful job at our house. Everything was in its place when we returned and our pups seemed to be relaxed and happy to have had the attention. We even have a dog who has some accidents due to age, and she let us know about it and cleaned everything up. She communicated with us consistently with questions or concerns, and we were never left wondering how things were going. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Ashley again and would recommend her to others.
I thank my lucky stars every day that we found Ashley! She is incredibly professional, GREAT with the pups, and will be sure to get all your instructions crystal clear, even asking me for clarification on things I hadn’t thought to specify. She’s trustworthy, reliable, and also just super sweet. She’s my #1 choice anytime we need care for our pups!
Ashley was amazing! She made sure my dogs and my family felt comfortable before we left town so she took the time to come spend time with us before our trip. She sent pictures, videos, texted often to keep me updated on the dogs. She asked great questions and made me feel at ease leaving them. I will definitely use her again!!
This was my first time using Rover, my first time working with Ashley, and my first time having someone in my home. I was referred to her by one of Ashley’s clients who i i know. I was skeptical at first and concerned about the rates. Im used to believing that baby sitting for $9 an hour is sufficient lol but im just old and know better now!. She communicated very well and broke down the rates for me helping me understand that its per nights rates. In the end i ended up paying more than her nightly rates as we needed extra day time hours and Im so glad i did and was able to find Ashley!! Honestly, you get what you pay for. People on here at most are working for under minimum wage, i realized this after me and my husband really sat and thought about that. I was happy to pay the rate that we discussed and came up with for my Hyper Aussie! She sends you photos, updates you, brings in your mail and even checked in on me and my husband which i thought was the sweetest. We typed up a paper giving her instructions for medications, where shell sleep, how to enter the home and more. She is more like a friend now, and im happy to give her my money and take care of her as she took care of my lovely Tank and my Husband and I. Im glad she was referred to me! She will be my go to sitter for as long as shes working! She also left some food and it was amazing! If you dont book with Ashley what are you doing? 😂 Im so glad Rover asked me to write a review as i feel everyone should know how great this woman is! Did i mention shes also pretty neat and vacuumed the pet hair for us! She goes above and beyond!
Ashley watched my 4 chihuahuas in my home for 2 weeks. She was proactive and open in her communication, and took excellent care of my dogs and home. I was not ever worried if they were safe or being taken care of, I received text updates, videos and photos. I would highly recommend Ashley and intend to utilize her service in the future for the care of my dogs.
I can't say enough great things about Ashley and the care that she provided for my pets! She really went above and beyond! I was out of town for two weeks, and while I was gone, Ashley communicated with me daily, sometimes sending photos and videos. Ashley gracefully handled two crazy situations involving an opossum and a skunk, and while most would have fled the scene :) , she stayed and cared for my pets and made sure they were safe and cleaned up! I will definitely be contacting her again to care for my zoo!

I’m a full-time engineering student with a passion for pets! Originally from Los Angeles, I moved here for my love of music. When I’m not caring for pets, I’m a food enthusiast, music lover, and movie binge-watcher who also enjoys the outdoors—whether it’s camping, light hiking, swimming, or roasting s’mores by the fire. I have specialized training in working with rescue pets, emotional needs, disabled and senior animals, diabetic care, and separation anxiety. Additionally, I’m skilled in adult dog and puppy training, as well as leash training. I also incorporate music therapy into my care routine to create a calming and stress-free environment, ensuring your pets feel relaxed and loved while you’re away.
