Caring and trustworthy pet lover!
I am a graduate student at University of Houston currently studying behavioral genetics of poison dart frogs. I'm originally from New Hampshire and looking forward to meeting pets and people in Texas! I am dedicated to treating each pet I care for as if they were my own. As a pet sitter, I have experience with dogs, cats, and many exotics and always welcome to take care of a new pet. Growing up, I always had a love of animals and spent most of my time caring for my personal pets (dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles) as well as many different farm animals. I worked as a pet care associate at Pet Smart for five years where I was in charge of providing care for the small animals, birds, and reptiles we kept and ensuring all were happy and healthy. I also worked closely with our adoption partners to care for the cats in store that were available for adoption. While I was never a certified trainer, I worked with and observed training classes often and always willing to help apply some basic training skills whenever I'm visiting.

Safety, trust & environment
During drop-in visits, I love to bring pups outside to play and take pictures to send to their pet parents. I will provide any care your pets require whether that be medications, kitty playtime, or exotic pet feedings. I also love to take pups on local trails and hikes, so please let me know if you would like to set something like that up. I love thorough instructions from pet parents so I can make sure your pets are cared for exactly the way they would be if you were home.

Amazing sitter as always
Ashley takes the time to play with my kits each visit, which I really appreciate and they enjoy (and need). I have no hesitation fully recommending Ashley.
Ashley was great! She is very knowledgeable and gave me some great tips for dealing with my elderly cat that I have been successfully using! Also, my very antisocial cat warmed up to her quite quickly (for her). I was extremely satisfied with the care my kitties received.
So responsible and always. Ashley went out of her way to accommodate and is flexible.
Returning home after bring gone a full week, everything looks great and kitties are happy and well cared for. Ashley did a great job with the 2 kits as well as watering and mail pick up. Strongly recommend her pet sitting service!

Schedule
I'm currently a full-time graduate student, but my schedule is pretty flexible so please feel free to reach out! I cannot currently bring new pets into my home and will not be able to be full-time at your home for house sitting, but let me know how I can best accommodate your needs and I will do what I can.
