As an adult, I’ve continued that commitment through responsible pet ownership, giving my own pets a loving, structured, and enriching home. My foundation in animal care goes even deeper thanks to my years in 4‑H, where I gained hands‑on experience in dog husbandry. From training and grooming to understanding canine behavior and proper health routines, 4‑H gave me practical skills that I still use every day. It shaped the way I approach pet care—with intention, respect, and a focus on safety and well‑being. Whether it’s daily walks, structured play, or simply offering a calm, comforting presence, I bring a lifetime of experience and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Your dog isn’t just another booking to me—they’re a member of the family, and I treat them with the same attention and affection I give my own.

Ashley handled multiple challenges with my large dog during my absence. All of which were handled very well, and she was exceptional at keeping me informed, which I greatly appreciate.
I can’t recommend Ashley enough - she is our preferred dog sitter! She is experienced, caring and professional. She is also very communicative and sends updates and photos which helps me feel at ease while I’m away. Working from home allows me to build pet care into the rhythm of my day in a way that feels effortless and intentional. Mornings start with a quick check‑in, fresh water, and a walk to get everyone moving. Throughout the workday, I’m able to offer consistent companionship — whether that’s a midday potty break, a play session between meetings, or simply being a calm presence while I work. I can keep an eye on their behavior, maintain feeding schedules, and respond quickly to their needs. Afternoon breaks often turn into enrichment time: a walk, a puzzle toy, or a little training practice to keep their minds engaged. Even as I wrap up my workday, pets stay part of the flow — evening walks, dinner routines, and plenty of attention. Working from home means your pet gets steady care, structure, and affection woven naturally into my day, not squeezed in around it.

I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (74 lb. silver lab + 35 lb. terrier mix). My goal is to keep your pets routine consistent while providing a clean, safe and calm environment. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal rhythm. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as you outline, and I make sure they get the same level of attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
