I take the safety, comfort, and happiness of every pet in my care very seriously. In both my home and my clients' homes, I prioritize creating a calm, secure, and loving environment. In my home: I keep my space clean, pet-proofed, and free of hazards (secured trash, covered outlets, no toxic plants or small objects). I follow each pet’s individual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. I provide constant supervision when pets are together and separate them when necessary for safety. I use positive reinforcement training and never use punishment or harsh methods. I monitor for any signs of stress, illness, or discomfort and communicate immediately with owners if anything comes up. In clients' homes (for drop-ins, house sitting, or walks): I respect the home exactly as the owner instructs — following their rules, schedules, and house layout. I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes. I maintain a calm energy so pets feel safe and relaxed in their own space. I send regular photo/text updates so owners can see their pets are happy and well-cared for. Pet safety and trust are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I’m always happy to discuss any specific needs or preferences a pet parent has.
