Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I care for my own three cats every day and love spending time with animals. I regularly make time for feeding, play, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. I’m also a dog lover and have owned some in the past. Fitting in visits, walks, or drop-ins is easy for me, and I always prioritize making pets feel safe and cared for.

In a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment for their pet. I carefully follow each pet’s routine—whether it’s feeding, playtime, litter box or bathroom needs, or medications. I always respect the pet’s comfort level and personal space, especially while they’re adjusting to someone new. Whether it’s providing cuddles, keeping their space clean, or simply being a calm and reassuring presence, I make sure every pet feels secure, loved, and well-cared for.

Before caring for any pet, I like to know a few important things to make sure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable: • Daily routine – feeding schedule, bathroom habits, nap times, walks, etc. • Personality and preferences – are they shy, playful, cuddly, energetic, or independent? • Triggers or fears – loud noises, other animals, strangers, certain environments. • Medical needs – any medications, allergies, or past injuries I should be aware of. • House rules – are pets allowed on furniture, any off-limit areas, crate training, etc. • How they are with other pets or people – especially if we’ll be out for walks or socializing. • Emergency contacts – your vet info and anything I should do in case of emergency.

For both cats and dogs, I love making sure they have fun, feel safe, and get lots of love! With dogs, I enjoy going for walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and giving them time to sniff and explore at their own pace. If they like learning, I’ll mix in a few training games too! For cats, I love interactive play with toys like feather wands, laser pointers, and anything that brings out their natural hunting instincts. I also spend quiet time with them—brushing, cuddling (if they enjoy it), or just keeping them company while they nap or explore. Every pet is different, so I always follow their cues and routines to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and having fun while you’re away!
