All animals are so different and have varied needs, so this depends a lot! Usually I spend the first few meetings getting a sense of the dog, their cues, and their needs. I have done everything from take care of extremely energetic dogs who needed multiple very long walks and enrichment activities a day, to extremely anxious dogs who just wanted to sit right next to me on the couch for most of the time. The dog sets the schedule for me!
