Pet care experience
Experienced, attentive & patient
I’ve lived with at least one pet my entire life, and have come to understand that a furry presence is one of the things that makes a house a home (or, at least, one I want to live in.) Most people would describe me as that person at the party who would most likely be hiding under the table making friends with the host’s terrified Siamese mix, if that gives you any idea. I have the most experience with cats, but I love meeting dogs, rabbits and especially birds! I am also happy to consider barn/stable work, not just for equines but for goats, sheep, llamas… whatever! I love the exercise. Hope to meet your faithful companions soon!

Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your home with respect and care, and take meticulous care of your property as well as your pets. Neither my very senior dog nor my deaf, older cat are fond of furry visitors, so watching your pets in my home isn’t an option.
Ratings and reviews
I originally left Anna a positive review because, at the time, I genuinely felt she was caring and great with my puppy. Unfortunately, after several months, my experience changed significantly. I provided clear, consistent instructions regarding my puppy’s training, potty routine, biting, walking, and boundaries, but those instructions were repeatedly not followed. I later began receiving messages about how difficult his biting had become and that she felt unsafe with him, despite having repeatedly allowed behaviors I had specifically instructed her to redirect. When I addressed this, she acknowledged that she is not particularly strict with puppies and that she had been relying heavily on bully sticks to occupy him. There were also multiple instances where I came home to accidents after her visits despite repeatedly asking her to make sure he went potty before she left, as well as a missed visit where she forgot she was scheduled. I also came home to find my sink had been left running. My biggest issue was not that my puppy is still learning—he is seven months old and absolutely still needs training. My issue was hiring someone to help reinforce that training while my instructions were not consistently being followed, and then having the resulting behavior presented to me as though it were solely a problem with my dog. I believe a dog walker needs to be able to follow the owner’s instructions, provide appropriate structure, and communicate honestly about what is happening during visits. Unfortunately, I ultimately did not feel that was happening here, and we decided to end the arrangement. I also discovered that a photo of my home had been posted on her Rover profile without my permission. When I asked that it be removed, I was told she didn't know what photo I was referring to and asked me to provide a screenshot. I hope this experience helps other owners understand that it is important to make sure their dog walker’s handling and training philosophy is compatible with their own. Anna may be a good fit for some clients, but based on my experience, I would not recommend her for someone who expects their dog walker to closely follow specific training instructions.

We have such a great experience with her! My dog loves her, which makes me feel so much better knowing she’s in good hands. She’s also super easy to communicate with, reliable, and keeps me updated. I definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again.

I can’t say enough good things about Anna. She stepped in at the last minute during a very difficult time for my family, and her support made all the difference. She is consistently punctual, reliable, attentive, communicates clearly, and pays close attention to my dog’s needs. I received regular photo updates of Pheny which gave me peace of mind when I needed it most. Her kindness and professionalism are exceptional, and I’m deeply grateful for her help. She’ll be my first choice for dog walking going forward.

Anna is great with my 4 month old puppy and he loves her. She provides exceptional care and makes sure he’s well taken care of while I’m gone. Thank you for being so caring!

I travel a great deal for work and leaving my cats, Tully and Isabeau, have always been a worry until Anna began caring for my cats. She is dependable, flexible and caring and goes the extra mile to ensure Tully and Isabeau have everything they need. These two cats, once feral, do not take to most people, but they love Anna. I can not reccommend her more highly
Anna has cared for my pets on more than one occasion, and she has been just fantastic every time. She is dedicated and caring, and the relief I feel knowing my animals are in good hands is priceless. My dog is obsessed with her and gets so excited every time they see each other! I trust her completely with the care of my pets.
