I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I can easily fit dog walks, playtime, and visits into my daily routine, and I make sure each pet gets the time and attention they need. I’ve had my own American Cocker Spaniel and also grew up with a Boxer, so I’m comfortable with both gentle companion dogs and more energetic breeds. I also have a grooming certificate and worked as a dog bather in Virginia for several months, where I gained practical experience handling dogs, keeping them calm during grooming, and ensuring their comfort and safety. In addition, I volunteered at dog adoption events, helping care for dogs in new and sometimes stressful environments. This experience taught me how to read dog behavior, build trust quickly, and support dogs as they adjust. I am patient, attentive, and always adjust my approach to each dog’s personality to make them feel safe and cared for.
