I’ve cared for dogs through Rover, for friends and family, and through volunteering with animals. I’ve also been a dog owner myself, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable following detailed instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and special routines. I make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and has a good time- and I always keep their humans updated along the way.

Andrea updated me everyday about my pup and did an awesome just exercising him and letting him have fun! She was very flexible when I had a few last minute drop off/pick up time and date changes which greatly eased my stress. I will definitely book with her again next time I need a sitter in the New Bern area!
Helped us out by walking Frankie while healing from medical procedures where they were unable to walk the dog. Andrea was big and wonderful help and highly recommend.
Andrea took great care of Chief. She was super flexible with our pickup time when our flight was delayed. Chief loved his stay!
Andrea did a great job taking care of our 6 month old, recently spayed, puppy at the last minute when we needed a sitter short notice. Much appreciated!

Hello I’m Andrea! I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet. Whether they’re staying with me, need a drop-in visit, or just a good walk, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I work mostly from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve.

For boarding, my home is currently pet-free and I have a yard for outdoor time. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and daily routine so they feel right at home. For drop-ins and walks, I tailor each visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means playtime, cuddles, feeding, potty breaks, an energetic walk, or a relaxed sniff around the neighborhood. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. 🐾❤️
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of attention, playtime, neighborhood walks, and outdoor time. For pups who enjoy a little adventure, I also love taking them on short hikes! I always adjust activities to your dog’s energy level, personality, and routine, with plenty of time to relax and feel at home too!
