He has some ongoing medical issues, which always makes us a little nervous when leaving him with someone new—but Stacia put all those worries to rest immediately. Her background as a vet student gave us so much peace of mind, and she handled all of Whiskey’s needs with total confidence and care. She kept us updated with regular check-ins and photos, and it was clear that Whiskey was not only comfortable but truly happy in her care. I have most weekends free during the summer besides a few weeks for vacations. When not on my vet job shadows I will be home during the evening for play times, walks, and potty breaks. When not doing job shadows I intend to be home during the whole day for more frequent interactions and opportunities for more potty breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
While I do not have a fenced in yard, there is a large open field across the street in which I can walk your dogs at as well as use my long leads to allow for more distant frolicking (up to 50 feet allowed). My dog is crate trained and is able to be left alone for many hours at a time if needed. I do have a cat but she can be put in a separate room if necessary for certain pets. If in a clients home I will respect whatever boundaries are needed to keep the pet as well as myself safe. I am not against safe crating if that is what makes the pet happy and safe.
Pets
A typical day
If I have any pets in my apartment they are more than welcome to play with my dog who is 2 years old. I take her for a daily walk at either the open field across the street or to nearby parks as well. On weekends we try to go to places outdoorsy like state parks and get lots of sniff time. I can provide my own long leads be able to let the dogs get a bit more range but still be controlled (30 and 50 foot leads).
