Hello pet parents! My name is Amy and I am super excited to take care of your beloved pets :) I have a little over 6 years of pet sitting experience, both with cats and dogs and the occasional turtle and hamster :) I treat each pet as if they were my own and with lots and lots of love. I also housesit if needed and highly recommend that we set up a meet and greet before hand(for housesits, drop ins, and dog walks) to properly meet each other, ask questions and have your furry family friend meet me as well! When housesitting your furry friend, it’s honestly like the best sleepover! Typically I’m off from work so we will start with a nice walk, then return and have dinner, play a bit of they are up for it and then snuggle time and a show/movie! For drop ins , same scenario just for a shorter period(depending on how long you request a drop in for) :)

Amy was great, staying in our house for a week to care for our dog, 4 chickens, cat, and gecko! All animals safe and sound when we returned!
Amy was great! Super communicative (photos every day). She was also very professional and obviously knew what she was doing. This was our first time using Rover and I was nervous to leave our cat with a stranger but as soon as I met Amy, I felt immediately reassured. Will definitely be doing business with her in the future!
We love Amy! As many of the reviews say, it is a strange experience to allow a stranger to stay in your home but Amy made us feel completely comfortable with every part of the process. We met her earlier in the year and then met closer to our departure to give her the run down - we didn't have complex instructions but she followed everything to a tee. Sent daily picture updates and always was responsive when I was checking in (overbearing dog mom here!). Amy was super respectful of our apartment and left the apartment exactly how he we left it. It makes your vacation that much more enjoyable when you know you have someone like Amy caring for your furry loved ones! Will 1000 percent book with Amy for next vacations!
It’s taken me a few days to decide what to say in Amy’s review. As a person, I really enjoyed getting to meet Amy! She was incredibly friendly and sweet, and I know we could have talked for hours about our pets. As a sitter, I was ultimately disappointed. 3 out of 5 visits with my cats, Amy started her check-in several hours after our agreed upon time— once, she didn’t show up until midnight. I told her during our meet-n-greet that I didn’t mind if she couldn’t show up right on time, but to please text me and keep me posted on her ETA. Unfortunately, I had to initiate conversation with her every time and find out when she would be arriving. I will say that my girls liked her and she did a fine job keeping them fed, watered, and played with which I really appreciated. But the litter boxes were a disaster and so was the house. I really think this came down to Amy being overbooked during the holidays and I would like to try working with her again sometime when she’s not so busy. I just wish she had been more communicative about her schedule.

Schedule
So as I mentioned before I currently work a full time job. My schedule varies. It could be Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm and I’m off Saturday OR Monday through Saturday(which Saturdays are 9am to 3pm) and off on Thursday. I usually do drop ins or walks before work and after work and the days I’m off I’m much more flexible! But with pet parents we come up with a schedule together and make it work :)
