I’m a grad student with in-person class 3 days a week. I am quite flexible with walk times and durations. When I am at school, it is for 4-5 hours, and I have family members who are always available to drop by for bathroom breaks while I’m away, if necessary

I am quite attentive to animal behaviour and am quick to notice changes in demeanour. I ask that you leave emergency contact info, as well as your vets contact info in case of an emergency.

I have no preferences when it comes to types of dogs, and size definitely doesn't scare me! All I would ask would be some general tips about your dog’s behaviour, such as their attitude towards other dogs and busy areas. I am comfortable giving pills and topical ointments. I am always available by phone throughout the duration of your pet’s time with me.

I’m a Stratford native, and walking is a big part of my daily exercise. I enjoy a good walk around the river, weaving through residential neighborhoods, or hitting the trails. I often hike at Wildwood, and am happy to bring your dog along! If your dog enjoys it, I’m also happy to play at the dog park.

I'm a University of Waterloo grad student who has owned and cared for dogs, cats, and horses all my life. I have handled Chihuahuas to Cane Corsos, and am also comfortable with multiple dogs at once (I once took care of a household of 6 for a month!). I have participated in classes from puppy obedience to clicker-training and more advanced commands, and also have experience with various behavioural issues, such as separation anxiety, food aggression and dominance issues. I have also worked for both small and large animal veterinary clinics in the past, and so am comfortable with basic animal first aid and giving medications. I am comfortable with whatever level of exercise your dog requires, whether that be long walks and trips to the park, or a simple walk around the block. As I have been a caretaker of dogs and other animals for many years, I am observant and quick to notice any changes in regular behaviour that may be cause for concern. Overall, I am someone who enjoys the company of all dogs, and am looking forward to meeting some new canine friends!

Amelia has cared for our animals (dogs, cats and horses) on many occasions. Now that she has moved to Ottawa, I know the animals miss her. She is trustworthy, kind and always gives individual attention to our pets. As she worked in a vet clinic, she knows when to contact owners if she sees a concern. Any dog would be lucky to have her as a walker.
