Growing up, I lived with two dogs, and a few years ago my family took in a rescue dog. Caring for him taught me the vital importance of strict routines, as he easily got overwhelmed by change. Because he struggles with separation anxiety and defensive behaviors, he requires a calm environment, clear boundaries, and extra patience. I am also very comfortable with high energy breeds and puppies! When my sister brought home a 10 week old Cocker Spaniel, I did the daytime care while her family was at work; managing his puppy energy, giving him attention, and maintaining training boundaries. Today, he’s a thriving, high energy adult dog who I still love looking after! Specialized Dog Skills - Behavioral Understanding: I know that when a dog acts out, they aren't just being "naughty", they are communicating an unmet need or feeling anxious. I bring patience and empathy to every dog, respecting their space when required. - Special Needs & Medications: Comfortable with hand feeding, precise routine management, and administering oral medications. - Reactivity & Anxiety: Experienced in handling nervous, reactive, or highly anxious dogs safely and calmly.

Over the years, I have become very confident handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I am more than happy to accommodate any specific needs your pet may have, whether that involves routine exercise, high-energy playtime, hand-feeding, or administering scheduled medication. Through my experience, I’ve developed a strong ability to read dogs and cats body language. I know how to spot the early signs of stress or agitation and always respect an animals boundaries by giving them the quiet space and time alone they need to feel safe and relaxed.

Absolutely cannot reccomend Amber enough. We had her watch our chihuahua and two cats and she was just lovely towards them, they all took to her straight away leaving our minds at ease for us to enjoy our plans. Thank you Amber :).

Schedule
I work full-time Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, but my job offers great flexibility! - Work From Home (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri): On WFH days, I am constantly present to give your pet companionship, administer scheduled medications, and provide regular potty or play breaks throughout the day. - In Office Days (Wednesdays): I am in the office on Wednesdays, so your pet will need to be comfortable being left alone during standard work hours on that day. - Flexible Planning: With advance notice, I can easily adjust my schedule to work from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if your pet requires full-time supervision!
