Hello, my name is Amanda and I've been a lifelong dog owner and animal lover! I have watched dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and ages and am happy to accommodate your pet's routine so they have the most comfortable experience possible. I volunteered with multiple animal shelters and rescues since high school and have fostered dogs through the Forsyth Humane Society (including a dog that required regular medication). I also had a hairless cat rescue who required a special diet and regular baths so I am also an experienced cat lover who is happy to do drop-ins for your feline friends! My services include dog walking and drop-ins to your home. I look forward to pampering your pet!

I want your pet to have the best experience possible while they are in my care! Change can be scary for our furry friends so I want to make this process as seamless as possible. Once you book with me, I will ask you care instructions to confirm your pet's schedule and needs if the information is not already available in your profile. I have two dogs in my home, a 2-year old 100-lbs male Great Pyrenees named Fuji and a 4-year old 50-lbs female Goldendoodle named Eevee. I also have a female Sphynx kitten named Komori. All of my pets are fixed and up to date on all vaccines.

My pup Frido loved Amanda as soon as he met her! She’s gentle with him and I know he’ll look forward to her drop in visits.
Amanda was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She followed the feeding instructions well, but overall the care felt minimal. I booked four visits. Two times she arrived 2–3 hours earlier than the scheduled time and only informed me once. I asked for three simple tasks during each visit: feeding, refilling water, and cleaning the litter box. Feeding was done correctly, but at least one day the water bowl was not refilled. I’m also unsure if the litter box was cleaned thoroughly. When I returned home, the water bowl was empty and the litter box was very full, and my cats were clearly desperate to use the bathroom. I also booked 30-minute visits. She stayed the full 30 minutes once, but the other visits seemed much shorter. Overall, communication was good, but the basic care and time spent with the cats could have been more consistent.
Amanda is wonderful with my pets! Her communication is awesome! We will absolutely use her services anytime!

I work full time remotely from home with a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for your pet. If I am walking your dog or doing a drop-in to your home, we can arrange a schedule that meets your pet's needs!
