Pet care experience

Im loving and understanding of pets

I have cared for a handicap dog named sandy she needed to be walked on a sling because her hind legs didn't work from a spinal issue. I also have cared for a puppy named beany since 3 days old. He required frequent feeding, warm bottle since he couldn't make his own body heat yet and help using the bathroom If he didn't go on his own. Beany is now 5 years old, happy and healthy. He is the Yorshire terrier in my pictures. As for sandy, she is now able to walk on all fours again! She is the black dachshund with the seal eyes in my pictures:). My other times caring for pets have been healthy adults that didn't require any specific aid. I love animals and would want nothing more than to be the reliable trustworthy person you can count on to watch your beloved four legged (most likely) family member.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I don't typically house sit in my own home but I have in cases where it was really needed like the pet had no where else to go or as a favor. If they are in my home I try to make them as comfortable as possible since they arent in their usual environment or the people they're used to. They are allowed on the couch I just cover it before hand for easier clean up in case of anything and my bed when it's time to sleep. If they are very clearly home sick I try a list of things like tricks for treats, pets, play, or just accompany them on the floor wherever they're laying. If it is in the owners home I follow the guidelines given for their house as well as hang out with them.

This was the first time we left our 5 month old puppies for the weekend. I was very nervous because they are a lot!!. Amanda handled them great and gave us peace of mind with constant pictures and updates.
