Caring for Your Cats Like My Own
Hi, I’m Amanda, a dedicated and experienced cat carer based in Stretford. I live with my young daughter and our four much-loved cats—Gracie, Freddie, Macie and little Ollie—so caring for cats is truly part of my everyday life. I’ve been a lifelong cat lover and have over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for my own cats, as well as regularly looking after friends’ and family members’ cats while they’re away. Through this, I’ve become confident in understanding different cat personalities—from shy and anxious to playful and affectionate—and I always adapt my approach to suit each cat’s individual needs. I know how important it is to feel your pets are safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I offer reliable and flexible home visits, whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, medication (if required), or simply some company and reassurance. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is in good hands. Being a cat owner myself, I treat every cat I care for as if they were my own—with patience, kindness and attention to detail. I’m flexible with availability and can work around your schedule, whether it’s short trips, holidays, or last-minute plans. The welfare and safety of your cat will be my highest priority at all times. I will take every reasonable precaution to ensure that the cat is protected from harm, including keeping all windows and doors securely closed and preventing access to any potential hazards within the property. I will remain vigilant in monitoring the environment to maintain a safe and comfortable space for the cat throughout my care.

I have had Amanda look after my cat for the 3rd time. I feel that when I'm away Lucy is in good hands. It's not easy leaving pets whilst away but I was reassured on a daily basis in regards to Lucy's welfare by receiving photos and daily updates. I would recommend Amanda to others seeking a cat sitter...
Amanda is brilliant,she sends plenty of pictures every day and let's you know how you're pet is. Its the second time I have used Amanda for the second time and will continue to when I go away in future..
Had a great experience with Cat in a Flat,the lady was very friendly,I got a message and picture every day,would recommend for a cat sitter.
I would recommend Amanda who did a great job of taking care of my cat. She was good at communicating, prompt in responsing to messages and was keen to ensure all of my cats' needs were understood.
Amanda showed up at the times we'd agreed and sent me photos and updates as requested. I'd happily rebook her :)

Schedule
I’m available for feeding, cleaning trays and lots of cuddles and playtime. I can also administer medication if needed. I look forward to meeting your furry friend.
