My experience in animal care began in the same way as many animal lovers, through the variety of pet I have had throughout childhood, my aim was to convince my mum to turn our house into a miniature zoo in which I believe my endeavour was successful, I have had a diverse catalogue of animals ranging from rodents to reptiles with some aquatic animals in between. This sprouted my passion for animal care and lead me to Myerscough College where I achieved a Level 3 City and Guilds in animal management. I also have four years of experience working in a Doggy Daycare beginning in year 11 as a work experience placement and then continuing alongside college and eventually I became permanent staff. With this I gained my most important experience as I worked with a variety of breeds and learned to read canine behavior as well as of course getting to play and create fun enrichment activities for our furry friends.
