Pet care is my full-time job, and I absolutely love it! I get to spend my days with animals while helping their humans feel at ease. I spend 2–6 hours a day dog walking and also petsit full-time in my home. I offer drop-in visits for all animals—dogs, cats, small pets, farm animals, and even reptiles!

Knowing this information allows me to tailor care, ensure safety, and create a positive, stress-free experience for every pet.
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of love, exercise, and attention tailored to each pet’s needs. For dogs, this usually includes playtime in my fenced-in backyard, fetch, training practice, and plenty of cuddles and naps. For cats, I provide drop-in visits with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. Depending on the pet, I also enjoy interactive games, gentle enrichment activities, and supervised exploration to keep them happy and mentally stimulated. Every day is designed to make pets feel safe, loved, and entertained while I’m caring for them.

Hi everyone! Please see photos for additional reviews! Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I work in pet care full-time. I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have been providing professional pet care for over 6 years, including dogs and cats. I have three awesome, dog-friendly pups who love meeting and hanging out with new dogs. I also have experience caring for cats and pets of all ages, including seniors. I’ve boarded and pet sat for many pets throughout Raleigh, NC, and I’m incredibly thankful for the trust each pet parent places in me. When boarding, walking, or pet sitting with me, I send lots of photos and videos throughout the stay so you can feel comfortable and stay updated. I’ve been dog walking and pet/house sitting since I was 13 years old, starting with friends, family, and neighbors and continuing through college. During college, I also volunteered with the local animal shelter, helping care for both dogs and cats. I love pets of all breeds and sizes, from small to big. My dogs and I completed training through Topline K9 Solutions in Raleigh, NC, giving me hands-on experience with training, structure, and good manners. When you book with me, you can rest easy knowing your pet will be in a safe, loving environment. Dogs enjoy playing fetch, running around in my fenced-in backyard, followed by naps and cuddle time. For cats, I offer drop-in visits, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, companionship, and medication administration if needed. Alyssa rocks! She’s taken care of our 65 lb energy ball twice now, and we couldn’t be happier. Our dog always looks like he’s coming back from a vacation. Alyssa has a really calm and understanding energy, which we find reassuring. She always sends great pictures so we know our dog’s having a blast. She has also given us great (important, actionable) feedback about our dog, which has been tremendously helpful for us!
