Hi there! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud pet parent who has been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. As an adult, that’s given me a lot of experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and quirks! ❤️ I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 100+ lbs and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m comfortable with behavioral challenges including anxiety, reactivity, and food aggression, and I have hands-on experience with puppy training and basic commands. Cats have also been a huge part of my life. I’ve lived in multi-cat households for most of my life and have experience with cats and kittens of all personalities. One of my most memorable experiences was when a stray cat came into my home and ended up giving birth to her kittens right on my lap! 🥹🐱 I’m also comfortable caring for chickens and have some experience with birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I regularly pet sit for friends and family, and I decided to join Rover because caring for animals is genuinely something I love doing. I work full-time, so pet sitting is my fun little side job—and I couldn’t ask for a better one! 🐶🐱💕 I don’t have any breed restrictions and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, so I’ll treat them like my own, communicate with you, and send updates as often as you’d like. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered, scaly, or fluffy!) family members! 🐾✨

Ratings and reviews
Alysia took care of my dog (14 months) at my home for a weekend. She was professional in handling a difficult situation and had fantastic communication and flexibility throughout the weekend. She also took the initiative to come to my house and meet us prior to her visits, which was very helpful. She showed a great deal of care and understanding for a nervous pup going through some stressful separation anxiety. I highly recommend her!

Alysia took care of my two cats for four days. She sent me lots of pictures. She even got my shy cat to come out and play. Definitely recommend her.
Alysia's time with Trouble was very short. If I read Troubles card it looks like Alysia for the Aug. 10 drop in was: start time 6:26 pm and stop time was 6:29 pm. Maybe Alysia could get the cat box cleaned, and the food and water taken care of in three minutes, but no time for Trouble. Russ Emery
Alysia took excellent care of my pets while I was away. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a great affection for animals. My pets were happy and well-cared for, and I received regular updates and photos. I highly recommend Alysia for anyone needing a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! Will be using her services again!
