I work especially hard caring for animals because their well-being is very important to me and I connect with them deeply. I spend at least mornings and evenings with the animals, feeding and walking in the morning and at night, and in general spending a lot quality time with them. I make sure to show affection and bond with animals, letting them set boundaries and determine when they feel safe and comfortable.

A typical day
Typically take dogs on two minimum 1-mile walks a day, depending on age and energy level of the dog. I have cared for puppies, young/adult dogs, and senior dogs, and they all have different needs. A young adult dog, for instance, might need to run a lot, and playing fetch or going hiking are great ways to get their energy out. A senior dog on the other hand needs more quiet one-on-one time and R&R.
