I currently have a very flexible schedule while I complete my Master’s program. I am a private contractor so I can make my own schedule, but I generally work evenings from 4-9:00 pm

A typical day
I always tailor activities to the pets’ preference. If they are high energy, I am happy to take them on long walks. Or, if they are a couch potato, we can watch Netflix together.

Pet care experience
Ever since I was three years old I have been surrounded by animals. I have bred and raised dachshunds as a family hobby for 10 years! With this experience, I have developed a huge love for dogs and an intuitive feeling for what they need. I have helped deliver puppies, hand fed newborns, given vaccines, potty trained puppies, and done basic grooming. I can handle all sizes and all personalities of dogs. Furthermore, I can handle leash-pulling, high jumping, and excessive barking dogs. During my undergrad years in college, I worked at the university veterinary hospital in the ICU unit. I am currently located in Columbia, Missouri.

It was my first time using Rover, so I was a bit anxious. Alisa provided great care for my dogs while I was out of town. I came home to clean litter boxes and full water bowls.
