My name is Alexander C. I am 29 years old and I live in Watkins Glen. I live in a three bedroom home on 22 acres. I have a dog and a couple ducks. I've been around animals all my life, everything from horses to hamsters. I've helped on farms with large animals, worked at the Farm Sanctuary with quite a diverse crowd, have taken care of many of my own friends and families pets, also even have had a few gigs pet walking and sitting through a similar website. Turtles, birds, guinea pigs, rats, cats, dogs, you name it! I have a great appreciation and care for the animal kingdom. Dogs especially! Happy to do anything from sitting to hosting, walking to just checking in. Whatever your pet needs are!

Alexander was super kind. Our dog seemed very happy after arriving at his place. When we met at the end of the day , she was happy to see us, but a bit of a sad glance back as we left Alexander. Two things to note: actually lives closer to Watkins Glen than the address on profile (as of July 25th, perhaps it's been updated). There is no fence on the property, but the driveway is long with trees and is removed from the road which isn't super busy. Our dog gets distracted by squirrels, etc. So we left him with a long lead for her and she was very safe on the property. Bonus: she is now napping. Generally a sign of a fun time.
From day one, Alex was awesome with our puppy! He went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of. I definitely recommend using him!
Alexander and his family were great. On the way home, Buster couldn't stop talking about all the fun he had. Actually, Buster was quiet and probably tired from playing. The house was a little hard to find but Alexander's precise directions helped a lot. We would consider leaving Buster there again when we visit Watkins Glen.

Alexander did a great job really took good care of our girls, Lidia and Cathrine. He was very professional and as very caring with the girls and our wants for their stay. I recommend him very highly. Margaret Curtin

Schedule
I work full time but have a very flexible schedule. If I take on a job I will make sure that I can do whatever is asked of me and that the time commitment is met!

A typical day
Hiking is a big part of our daily life as a family, and our family dog always goes. Other than that visiting the local dog park, walking a couple blocks downtown, going to splash in the lake, or just hanging out a home with a good game of fetch or tug o war.
