Attentive and flexible petsitting!
Since I was in middle school, I was chosen as the neighborhood petsitter due to my responsible nature and love for animals. To be trusted with the care of a loved pet is the most honorable position I can think of and one that I hope to continue here in New Mexico. To keep an animal happy when their owner is away is something I pride myself in. I also have experience in dosing medicine for multiple types of animals.

I have always adhered to the highest standard of the needs of an animal based on the human owner's desire and interactions with their pet. I am adaptable in a multitude of ways, including the needs of the animal I will be caretaking in their place of comfort instead of a new environment. I have a clean background check and pride myself in creating an atmosphere of trust and dependability.

We love Alex!!! There’s so may wonderful things we could say about her including the fact that she’s great with our fur kids (even the shy ones), goes above and beyond (like taking out the trash and recycling), and is always a joy to work with! We can’t thank Alex enough!

Another fantastic time working with Alex! This was probably the longest trip we’ve done and things went so smooth. The kids are always happy and relaxed when we get home and the house is tidy!! 1000/10! Alex is the best!
Where to begin . . . Alex is hands down the best sitter we’ve ever had (and we’ve been using Rover for three years now)! For this trip, Alex went above and beyond in so many ways. For example, our new kitten Olive was surprisingly anxious and timid to eat while we were gone. Alex kept us updated about her and worked gently to earn Olives trust - by the end of the trip, the two of them were sharing the couch! Similarly, our new couch was unexpectedly delivered while we were gone and Alex moved multiple large and heavy boxes from the front door to our garage - unasked and unprompted, Alex takes care of things! Oh, and not to mention, we accidentally locked ourselves out one night and Alex was over in 15 minutes to give us her spare. Alex is just an awesome human and a great sitter! We can’t say enough positive things!

Schedule
I'm a graduate student and TA at NMSU with flexible class schedules where I would be able to attend to the daily needs of the client's pets. Because I don't work outside of the University, there would seldom be a time that I would be unavailable for pet care needs.
