I offer professional services for pet sitting and/or dog walking with a focus on providing a positive and loving environment in which your pet can be their own carefree, goofy, playful self! My goal is not only to watch or walk your animal but to build a lasting relationship that allows him/her to open up and be themselves in a safe setting that promotes pet growth and happiness. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years for neighbors, friends, and family, and I have 4 years of professional experience working as a dog handler at Oh My Dog (a doggy-daycare from my hometown) where I oversaw and managed packs of 20-60 dogs at a time. This position provided me with valuable experience that I can now transfer to individual pet sitting/walking opportunities. I have experience working with all kinds of dog breeds and am capable of catering to specific needs and individual requests if need be. I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have—please feel free to reach out! I am a recent Master’s graduate studying to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I just moved to Long Island from Vermont and am passionate about soccer, hiking, language, and of course, animals! I grew up with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even snakes. Back home I currently have two rescue pitt bull mixes, Skye and Mr. T, whom I love dearly. I have many years of experience caring for pets in others' homes, and I make sure to treat the house/apartment as though it were my own, if not better. I am happy to work with any special requests regarding the pet care situation. In the past, I have helped train a dog to use a doggy door, administered medicine for animals during feeding, and watered plants around the house. P.S. I love to take fun pictures of pets and update owners about how their pet is doing!

Alex was fantastic... super kind and caring to Allie. This was my first time having a cat sitter that was a "stranger" so I was a bit uneasy at first. But rest assure your pet is in good hands. Not once did I have to worry if Allie was being treated well or fed properly. Alex was really great with checking in and giving us updates. 10/10!
Alex was very friendly and punctual! Great communication, and got along great with our dog! Would for sure book again!

Schedule
SCHEDULE I am transitioning to the work force after graduating from my Master’s program and I currently have availability both during the week and over weekends. Specific availability is rather flexible at the moment, so please do not hesitate to reach out :)
