I grew up having a cat from the age of 2 to 15. She was feisty and independent, and through that I learned when cats need space. Although cats will always have a special place in my heart, dogs are my one true love. When I was 16, my family finally got our first dog, Bones, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I’m grateful we got him as a puppy so that I was able to learn how to take care of him firsthand and help to train him. He was the sweetest dog; sadly he passed away in 2024. Coincidentally, around this time my husband and I got our first dog together - Gelata! She is a cavalier King Charles spaniel and poodle mix (otherwise known as a cavapoo). She was the most energetic, curious puppy, and I was reminded again that taking on a puppy is no easy task 😅At 2 years old, she is my greatest joy and the sweetest baby. She loves everyone and everything (including other dogs) and just wants to show the world how capable she is of spreading that love/ affection! Aside from my own dogs, I have extensive experience in dog sitting and walking, whether it’s through friends and family, or making connections here. No dog is too big or small - I truly love them all!

I am very accommodating. We currently live in a single family residential home with a large fenced in backyard, so there is plenty of space for your pet if needed. I am all about making your pet feel comfortable, and therefore please feel free to provide whatever is necessary to create the best space for your animal in our home.

Alex was great with our pup for the 3 nights we needed! Ample backyard space, indoor space, & sent pupdates multiple times a day! My kids really enjoyed seeing pics of their pup while we were away! Alex was absolutely wonderful. She updated me multiple times a day on how my pup was doing. I definitely felt like he was in good hands and it was able to enjoy my time away. She will always be my first choice for booking a sitter!

Schedule
I work remotely 5 days of the week most of the time, and therefore my schedule is very flexible. There may be times when I need to go into the office, so just having a few days notice is always appreciated so that I can get my schedule sorted out! Since I am home most of the time, I can give lots of attention to your pet! I can easily play, walk, or just offer cuddles while I’m working on my laptop on my couch.
