I live in Empire and work from home full time with some occasional travel here or there (just depends). There is a lot of flexibility in my job when I’m at home and I wanted to offer to anyone who has dogs, cats, or any other pets my services. I am available for pet sitting and/or house sitting—whether it’s quick drop-ins for your dog, cat during the day or overnight stays while you’re out of town. I’ve got experience with both and can be flexible depending on what you need. I’m happy to follow any specific routines or instructions. Alec is a return sitter for us - he did great with our dogs, one of whom is young and a real handful, the other dog is deaf and going blind...both dogs really love him and he followed directions for them well! He is great with our cat also. Left the place very clean as well when we returned!
Alec was absolutely fantastic! He cared for our dog, Maggie, and our cat, Althea, in his home for two weeks while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Alec was incredibly communicative. He kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about both of them. Maggie came home relaxed, happy, and clearly loved, and Althea was equally well taken care of. It’s not always easy to find someone you trust with both a dog and a cat for an extended stay, but Alec exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, caring, attentive, and keeps you informed every step of the way, I wholeheartedly recommend Alec. We would not hesitate to book with him again. Alec was a housesitter for my cat and two dogs - one dog is deaf and partially blind; the other dog is still very much a puppy. He was great with the specific needs for each dog and with the cat as well! He followed our directions and left our house clean as well. I would highly recommend Alec!
We needed a sitter last minute and Alec was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. He took great care of our dog Dre who had an upset stomach during his stay with Alec. Would have Alec sit again.
Alec is a very kind, helpful, and thoughtful pet sitter. He watched my dog for an extended period while I was in Alaska and out of cell service. Despite being unable to reach me, he took excellent care of my dog and went above and beyond to make sure my apartment was also well cared for. I felt completely confident that everything was in good hands while I was away.
Alec was a life safer and stepped in at the last minute when another sitter had to change their plans. He went above and beyond. Took good care of the puppies and the house. If you need a reliable sitter Alec is your guy!!!

Schedule
I work full time on call M-F from 8:00-4:30 but I have flexibility to do other tasks during the day like to walk or let a dog out, administer medication etc. I make sure to get my work done everyday along with my other tasks at hand

Safety, trust & environment
It varies by the pet and how much attention or exercise they are needing. If you have an animal that needs to burn off energy, I will do my best to do so wether it’s a hike, playing fetch or something else! If you have a low energy animal that wants to sit on the couch and sleep, that’s completely fine as well. I enjoy giving animals love and attention! I will make sure to follow proper feeding and medication schedules as needed I will treat your pet exactly how I would want mine to be treated and that is with love and respect ❤️
A typical day
Hikes, playing fetch, tug of war, lots of petting etc. I am an active person and am happy to wear them out on a long hike or nice walk as needed. I am also okay with dogs that are lazy and are good to sleep most of the day, I will supervise them as best I can!
