Hi, I'm Alanis! I'm a dependable and energetic medical student with a lifelong love for dogs. Caring for animals is one of my favorite ways to recharge outside of school, and I’m passionate about providing safe, attentive, and loving care for every pet I meet. I have over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs of all breeds, personalities, and energy levels, including my own 3-year-old Australian Shepherd, Marcy. She has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, structure, and plenty of play. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, enrichment activities, or relaxing on the couch, I'll tailor their care to their individual needs. As a medical student, I'm organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. I'm happy to follow your pet's routine, administer basic medications if needed, and provide frequent photo and video updates so you always know your furry family member is happy and well cared for. Schedule
My structured schedule as a medical student allows me to dedicate focused time to pet care. I'm primarily available for drop off/pick ups on Friday evenings, weekends, and Mondays, making me a great option for overnight boarding, doggy day care, and extended walks. However, if you need accommodations, please reach out as my clinical schedule varies throughout the year. When I'm with your pet, they're my priority, and I strive to provide consistent attention, exercise, and companionship.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment community with a fenced dog run, grooming station, and easy access to Woodward Park and nearby walking trails. Because I don't currently have pets at home, visiting dogs enjoy a calm, quiet environment and my full attention. I'll maintain your dog's normal routine—including meals, walks, medications, crate time, and cuddle time—so they feel secure, comfortable, and at home while you're away.
